Gruesome Playground Injuries charts the lives of accident prone Doug and emotionally damaged Kayleen from ages 8 to 38.

  • Phillip Fox is a 2018 graduate from The University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied with a BFA in Acting. His recent roles include King Cymbeline in Forest Park Theatre's production of "Innogen", an adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline", as well as in Moon Dog's projects of Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie" portraying Tom, and John Logan's "Red" portraying Ken. He is grateful to be apart of the journey of Moon Dog and for being able to help create a space of creativity and self expression for fellow artists.

    Mia Marks is so excited to make her Moon Dog Theatre Debut as Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries. Since graduating with a Bachelor's in Acting from Illinois State University, she has pursued stage and film opportunities all throughout the city of Chicago. Her most recent credits include Hershel in "Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins," Isabella in "Swordswoman of San Gimignano," and Callie in "Chin Up," a DePaul University student film. When she is not acting, you can find her exploring every corner of the city and all of its' great places to eat! This play means a lot to her and she hopes you enjoy the show!
